| AESBUC is an association of a group of companies, mainly from the food industry, which develops activities in cooperation with Escola Superior de Biotecnologia from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. It was funded as an answer to an industry initiative to promote the development of the food sector in Portugal. |
| AESBUC in cooperation with ESB, offers a big variety of services, from analysis, to resolution of problems, development of new products, programmes and professional formation courses, to big industrial projects of great importance to the industry. |
| AESBUC owns technologic installations that support the food industry, which are complemented by a big amount of structured actions of continuous and professional training, with own production of didactic materials and support, including electronic materials which provide assistance to distance learning programmes and training programmes based in new TIC's. AESBUC also have a big experience in coordination of national projects (PEDIP program, REDE, etc.) and european projects (Leonardo da Vinci, Adapt, etc.). |
