is a centre dedicated to continuous training (with more than 40 presencial
courses), Investigation and Development, consulting services and quality
control, in the dairy area. |
| Funded
in 1993, it has participated in numerous projects, regional, national and
european, in the investigation area or continuous training of workers from de
dairy industry (presencial classes, in the company, or distance programmes). It
was leader of the project Polifemo, an initiative from ADAPT. |
| Nowadays,
it counts with a team of 23 workers with different types of links. In the
e-learning area, the center Aula de Productos Lácteos has a notable experience,
with more than 800 students, 1600 registers, in 14 courses through Internet,
these students are mainly from Spain and South America. This center also has
information services to professionals of the area through the publication of
databases with bibliographic data, with company contacts and legislation
contents in a web site. Since 1997 this center is member of Europel. |
